Fee structure for VQ activities

ECITB in-scope companies – no charge for centre approval, publications, registration and certification, however there is a charge of £30 for replacement certificates.

or companies 'out-of-scope' to the ECITB, the following costs apply from 1^st August 2006

Approved centre status

• ECITB visits the organisation to advise on the completion of the approved centre portfolio submission and to award approved centre status (it is normally expected that at least two to three days will be required). £350 per day plus travel and subsistence.

• Subsequent ECITB staff visits for the purpose of audit, external verification and re-approval. Minimum of two visits per year. Minimum duration charged for each visit is half a day. £175 plus travel and subsistence.

• Constructional Steelwork Site Operations level 2, there will be a charge of £150 per registration this covers the whole range from ECITB staff visits for the purpose of audit, external verification, Standards and Assessment Guidance booklets, Internal Verifier code of practice, access to online ACIC and certification.

There is a different charge for the Constructional Steelwork Site Operations level 2 as this is not an activity that is in scope to the ECITB.

Constructional Steelwork Site Operations

• level 2 - £150

Replacement certificates:

• £30

• Centre appeals — £200
• Candidate appeals — £50

For successful appeals this fee will be refunded.
